Annie Hyman Pratt, Founder and CEO of Leading Edge Teams, is an integrative business expert with decades of distinctive experience. She has dedicated her career to providing, trusted, high-level executive consulting and training. Annie develops and leads change regarding a company’s business strategies, leadership, teams and operations. She is a sought after C-Suite consultant for CEOs, CFOs, and COOs.

Early on, as an Economics/Business graduate of UCLA, Annie was immediately hired by one of the prestigious “Big 8” accounting firms in Los Angeles, where she received her CPA. Her solid grasp of accounting and finance has been a key advantage throughout her career.

Interestingly, earlier in her life, Annie’s business education began around the dinner table, as she listened to her mother and father discuss their business. This was the trend-setting, growing, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf company in Southern California.

As CEO of her family business during the 1990’s, Annie was a trailblazer for career women. She led their family company from seven coffee-tea stores to 70-plus stores in less than a decade. Shortly after, she managed the highly successful sale of the company.

It was during her time as CEO of this rapidly growing, highly prosperous family coffee company that Annie was awe-struck to learn how the bottom line centered around the “people” who worked for her. They were the company’s greatest resource and asset, and they deserved mentoring, development, and acknowledgement. From that vantage point, her strategies and action plans for managing the “people part” of business emerged. Her People Part book, published in 2021, is available through all major booksellers.

Early business experience compounded her knowledge in strategic planning and how to manage change. After the sale of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Annie moved into interim C-suite executive work and top-tier business consulting. She continues to grow as a recognized expert in guiding companies through rapid growth and complex turnarounds. Annie’s experience with a large variety of entrepreneurial businesses, in different industries, is especially rare, giving her a unique understanding of what it takes to succeed.

Annie’s specialty in the “people part” was further cultivated through her study at the University of Santa Monica, where she earned a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology. There, she learned what it really takes for human beings to transcend their quick to judge and self-protective nature. Today, her passion and expertise is working with owners, leaders and teams, guiding them forward to reach their full potential—in the “business part” and the “people part!”
